According to Wikipedia, Monty Don currently has four dogs. Nigel and Nellie are both golden retrievers; he also has a miniature dachshund named Brenda and a Jack Russell named Barry–Anne.
I am not a fan of Gardeners' World (having little interest in gardening), so I can't comment on which dogs appear on the show. I am prepared to accept that only Nigel and Nellie appear!
